New Delhi . A 35-year-old man allegedly hanged himself in his rented house in Kotla Mubarakpur in south Delhi. This information was given by the police on Wednesday. Police said the incident happened on Tuesday night. Police said the deceased has been identified as Naresh Kumar, who ran a tattoo shop in South Extension-1. Police said that Kumar, in his suicide note, accused his landlord Anil Baisla of harassment. A senior police official said that preliminary investigation revealed that there was a dispute over payment of rent between Kumar and his landlord.
The officer said that Baisla had also filed a case against Kumar in the court and his hearing was due on Wednesday. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Atul Kumar Thakur said, “On Wednesday, we received information from AIIMS Trauma Center at KM Pur police station that someone named Naresh Kumar had hanged his house. She is hospitalized by her younger brothers Gopal Krishna, Karan and Mohit.
Kumar was declared dead during treatment. “He said that a case has been registered in this regard under Section 306 (abetment of murder) of the Indian Penal Code. Police said Kumar was married but his family lived separately.
