new Delhi. The case of gold smuggling scandal in Kerala is continuously catching up. BJP has demanded the resignation of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on moral grounds. Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan has said, “CM Vijayan does not have the right to continue in the post after the connection of the Chief Minister’s Office came to light in the Gold Smuggling Case”. In a press conference on Friday at the BJP headquarters, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muralitharan said, “The contacts of the people who were initially arrested in the gold smuggling case were met by the Principal Secretary to the CM of Kerala. The total of this high profile gold smuggling case in Kerala Four agencies are investigating. Customs is investigating it. The NIA has also started its investigation on July 10 when the Terror funding connection came to light. The same case of Swapna Suresh arrested in the gold smuggling case, got Rs 1 crore of commission The CBI is also investigating. ”
The Minister of State for External Affairs said, “This matter is different from earlier cases as it is directly connected to the Chief Minister’s Office. The Chief Minister is constantly changing his position from the day the case was registered.”
