new Delhi. The Supreme Court on Wednesday granted huge relief to over 3,000 teachers of Jharkhand and allowed them to continue their services. It also sought a response from the state government on the petitions filed against the High Court order scrapping the employment policy 2016. A bench of Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice R. Subhash said, “Two weeks’ time is given for filing a counter affidavit. If there is a rewinder affidavit, file before the next hearing date. In the meantime, the teachers who are scheduled district “I am working in India. They will not be transferred, as the High Court has said in its judgment. It will remain till the next date of the interim relief hearing.”
The apex court fixed November 4 as the next date of hearing in the case.
