Jammu. The Border Security Force (BSF) has foiled an attempt to smuggle arms and drugs from Pakistan along the International Border (IB) in Arnia, Jammu and Kashmir. This was done on Saturday night.
(BSF) witnessed suspicious activity near the international border at night and foiled an attempt to smuggle arms, ammunition and narcotics into Indian territory.
“The BSF personnel of Border Outpost (BoP) Budwar / Bullechak noticed suspicious activity of a Pakistani man near IB at night and then fired,” BSF said.
It said “58 packets of suspected narcotics, two pistols, four magazines and ammunition were recovered after a thorough search in the area during the morning.”
