Now the first meeting between India and the United States has been held in this regard, in which the entire focus of both countries is to make necessary measures for cyber security in their country. Giving information, the US State Department’s Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs has said that today, officials of the US Department of Defense and India’s Ministry of Defense organized the first annual US-India Cyber Defense Dialogue. The two sides exchanged views on cyber threats and best practices in cyber defense.
5 Chinese accused in hacking case in America
The US Department of Justice has accused five Chinese citizens in a massive hacking case. They have been accused of stealing software data and business-related information from more than 100 companies and institutions in many countries including the US and Indian government networks.
US Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen announced three indictments on Wednesday. Among them, five Chinese citizens have been collectively accused of committing computer hacking. Two Malaysian citizens have also been accused of helping him. Malaysian nationals were arrested on Sunday, according to a statement from the Department of Justice. While Chinese citizens have been declared fugitives, many foreign governments, universities and think tanks were targeted in this cyber attack as well as Hong Kong’s pro-democracy leaders and activists. Chinese hackers also targeted Vietnam and the British government’s computer network.

The Department of Justice reported that more than 100 companies, organizations and people hacking in the US, India, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
