Bengaluru There was a ruckus on Tuesday night in Bengaluru, Karnataka. A Facebook post written by a close aide of Congress MLA Srinivas Murthy sparked off some people. After which the mob attacked the MLA’s house, during which, arson and stone-pelting took place. Two people have died in this late night ruckus, along with many others have also been injured. The miscreants attacked the MLA Srinivas Murthy’s residence in Bangalore and vandalized it.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner Kamal Pant said that around 60 policemen have been injured, including the Additional Police Commissioner. In order to control the uproar, two people have died in the firing by the police. One person is injured, who has been shifted to the hospital. The Police Commissioner said that Section 144 has been imposed in Bengaluru to control the situation. Curfew has also been imposed around DJ Halli and KG Halli Police Station. Bengaluru Police Commissioner said that Naveen has been arrested for sharing inflammatory posts on social media.
