Gold fell nearly five percent on Tuesday and the price of silver also fell more than seven percent. In the domestic futures market, gold has been broken by a record high of Rs 4,000 per 10 grams and silver has fallen below Rs 70,000 a kg. Gold was trading at Rs 52,245 per 10 gm on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Tuesday at 8.59 pm, down by Rs 2,701, or 4.92 per cent, from the previous session in gold October futures contract, while gold lost Rs 52,022 during the previous trade. .
On Friday, gold had jumped by a record Rs 56,191 per 10 grams on MCX, since then it has fallen by more than Rs 4,169 per 10 grams.
At the same time, MCX was trading at Rs 69,801 per kg, down by Rs 5,593, or 7.42 per cent, from the previous session in the September expiry contract for silver, while silver lost Rs 68,913 per kg during trading.
On Friday, the price of silver on MCX had risen to Rs 77949 per kg, after which the silver has fallen more than Rs 9036 per kg till now.
The gold futures contract on the international futures market Comex was trading at $ 1,954 an ounce, a decline of $ 75.85, or 3.74 per cent, from the previous session at $ 1,954 an ounce. The gold futures contract on Comex jumped to a record level of $ 2078 an ounce on Friday, after which the gold price has broken $ 130 an ounce.
The September futures contract for silver was trading at $ 27.18, down 7.10 percent from the previous session, compared to the previous session of $ 26.86 an ounce. Last week, the price of silver had risen to $ 29.91 an ounce, after which it has fallen by about three dollars an ounce.
Ajay Kedia, director of Kedia Advisory, said that after the news of the formation of Corona virus vaccine in Russia, there has been a break on the rise in gold and silver. He said the gold and silver luster has faded from Corona’s vaccine, but the forward direction will depend on tensions between Washington politics and US-China.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said to give regulatory approval to the Kovid-19 vaccine. He also said that his daughter has also been vaccinated and has passed the vaccine in the required test.
