Moscow. The Kovid-19 vaccine, prepared in Russia, will go into civilian circulation from January 1, 2021, i.e. from this day it will be made accessible to the common people. The media reported this on Tuesday, quoting the certificate of this vaccine registered by Russia.
According to the report, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said that the vaccine of Kovid-19, developed jointly by the Microbiology Research Center Gamalaya and the Russian Ministry of Defense, would be first given to medical personnel and teachers.
He said, “We will start using it in a phased manner in the common people. The first priority will be given to those who come in contact with the infected person in connection with the work and they are medical personnel and it will also be provided first to those who Are responsible for the health of children, that is, teachers. ”
The Russian Health Minister said that the Gamaleya Research Center Institute and pharmaceutical company Binnopharm JSC would use these two sites to produce the vaccine.
Kirill Dimitrig, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, said the country had received one hundred million requests for vaccine supplements.
He said, “We have seen the world’s keen interest in the Russian vaccine made by the Gamalaya Research Institute. We have received initial requests from twenty states to purchase more than one hundred million doses of the vaccine.”
He said that Russia, along with its foreign partners in five countries, is ready to ensure the production of more than 500 million doses of the vaccine.
According to the report, Russia plans to further increase its production capacity.
