London. England has released five players from the BioSecure environment in Manchester. These players include Joey Denley who will join the limited overs team for the ODI series against Ireland in the Ages Bowl on Monday. In addition to Danley, Dan Lawrence, Craig Owton, Ollie Robinson and Ollie Stone have been released by England. All of them failed to make it to the final-11 in the third Test match being played against the West Indies.
Denley did not get a chance in the team after a poor performance in the second Test. In the second Test, he scored 18 runs in the first innings and 29 in the second innings.
Apart from Denley, the other four players will be available for their county teams, which are preparing for the England home season starting on August 1 with the Bob Willis Trophy.
England and Ireland have to play a three-match ODI series. The first match of the series will be played on July 30 while the second and third matches will be played on August 1 and August 4.
