New Delhi After the violent clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Galvan Valley, there has been a lot of resentment among the citizens of the country. In this sequence, the Delhi Taxi Tourist Transporters Association has stopped its service to the citizens of China as per a decision on Tuesday. That is, now the citizens of China will not be allowed to sit in all the taxis coming inside this association. The Delhi Taxi Tourist Transporters Association houses 400 taxi companies and around 50,000 taxis.
“After the treatment of our soldiers, we have decided that we will not serve our taxi to any Chinese national,” Sanjay Samrat, president of the Delhi Taxi Tourist Transporters Association, told IANS. We request the Central Government to boycott all the goods of China in the country.
Earlier, the Delhi Hotel Restaurant and Owners Association had also decided that no Chinese person would be accommodated in the hotels and guest houses in Delhi. There are about 3,000 budget hotels and guest houses in Delhi, with around 75 thousand rooms.
However, after seeing anger against China in the country, the Indian government has banned 59 Chinese apps including TickTalk, UC Browser. They also include prominent apps like Hello, WeChat, UC News.
