Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Agency (UPNEDA) has intensified efforts to install solar power plants on government buildings located in the districts of the state. UPNEDA will prepare a relevant report of government buildings located in the districts. On the basis of which solar power plants will be installed on these buildings.
The work of installing solar power plants on government buildings by UPNEDA is already underway, but now it has been decided to do it on a war footing. According to the plan, a list will be prepared of those buildings which are marked to be equipped with solar energy or the work could not proceed due to some reasons.
UPNEDA has prepared a detailed blueprint
For this, a detailed blueprint is to be prepared by UPNEDA, which will have an account of government buildings in the districts. A database of all government buildings with grid connected solar roof top installations of 25 kW and above capacity will be prepared.
Along with identifying government buildings suitable for solar energy systems, a detailed report will be prepared by UPNEDA. This work will be done at the district headquarters as well as at government buildings up to tehsil, block and village level. A detailed action plan will be made to complete the installation work in those government buildings which will be marked for grid connected solar roof top installation.
