Unnao. An employee working in the CMS office of the district hospital is missing since March 18. The family members have filed a missing report. The police are looking for him.
Meanwhile, the hospital administration was shocked when it was revealed that the missing employee had not deposited about Rs 16 lakh in the bank for prescription, ECG, plaster, operation and medical fees. The CMS has formed a three-member committee and started a departmental inquiry. After the inquiry, preparations are underway to file a case of embezzlement against the missing employee.
This is the whole case
Vinay Yadav, a fourth class employee in the District Male Hospital, resident of Jurakhan Kheda near Sai Mandir in Sadar area, left his house on March 18 saying that he was going to the hospital for duty. He did not return home after that. Then mother Phoolkesh filed a missing report of Vinay in Sadar police station on March 19. Since then the police and the family members are searching for Vinay.
When the closing time came in March, CMS Dr. RA Mirza called for the details of the hospital account from the bank, in which the money coming from prescription, ECG, plaster, operation and medical fees is deposited, then it was found that no money has been deposited in the bank account for many months. Medical Superintendent Dr. Sanjeev Kumar told that after the receipt was issued at the prescription counter, the money was deposited with Vinay, who used to go to deposit it in the bank. There was a stir in the hospital administration when the secret of government money not being deposited in the bank account was revealed. CMS has formed a three-member inquiry committee. The inquiry committee has been instructed to submit the report in three days. It is being estimated that about 16 lakh rupees have not been deposited in the bank account. Vinod Kumar, brother-in-law of missing worker Vinay, said that he was a fourth class employee, so how can he be given the responsibility of depositing the money. It is possible that the hospital administration is blaming him for embezzlement. Nothing happens with just allegations, the hospital administration had given the responsibility of depositing the money, he never gave such information to his family.
Possibility of fake bank seal
CMS office employees say that the bank receipt slip is attached to the file of bank deposit expenses, whereas, there is no money deposited in the account. It is believed that the work of misleading the departmental officials has also been done by putting fake seal on the bank receipt slip.
Investigation committee asked for date wise deposit details from the bank
The three member investigation committee includes Medical Superintendent Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, Dr. Manoj Singh and Dr. Vivek Gupta. However, CMS flatly refused to reveal their names.
The members of the investigation committee have asked for complete details of the money deposited in the account from the bank. On request of anonymity, one of the members of the investigation team said that by matching the bank details and the daily deposit register of the prescription counter, it will be found out how much money has not been deposited in the account.
CMS said – It is possible to tell anything only after investigation
CMS Dr. RA Mirza said that the responsibility of depositing the money received for prescription, ECG, plaster, operation and medical fees was of class IV employee Vinay. Receiving slips of bank deposits have been found in the file of deposited expenses, but there is no money in the account.
From this it is believed that fake bank seal has been affixed on the receiving slips. Along with the details from the bank, details of the money deposited at the prescription counter have been sought. Till the investigation is not complete it is not possible to say anything. Right now I can say that by not depositing the money in the bank account a fraud has been committed.
