In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a daughter-in-law killed her retired officer father-in-law by beating him with a cricket bat. The police took action in the case and arrested the accused daughter-in-law. During interrogation, the daughter-in-law first tried to mislead the police. The daughter-in-law had said that her father-in-law had illicit relations with three to four women. She used to come and go to the house every day. She must have killed her father-in-law. When the police strictly interrogated the daughter-in-law in the case, she confessed to the murder.
Pati Singh, who lived in Govindpuram D Block of Kavinagar in Ghaziabad, was murdered by his daughter-in-law. The deceased was originally from Saharanpur district. Pati Singh’s only son Jitendra was married to Aarti, a resident of Dhaulana in Hapur, 11 years ago. His son and wife died during the Corona period. The deceased had retired from the Health Ministry of Delhi only 4 years ago. There was a dispute between the father-in-law and daughter-in-law regarding property.
There was a dispute with the daughter-in-law
After the court order, the daughter-in-law came to live in Govindpuram with her two sons four months ago. Pati Singh has a three-storey house in Govindpuram, in which he himself lived on the ground floor. His daughter-in-law lived with her two sons on the first floor. Apart from this, a female accountant lived on the second floor. On Friday night, daughter-in-law Aarti had a dispute with her father-in-law.
First took off the clothes and then killed
After which she left both her children in the room to watch TV and went to the ground floor. During this time Aarti had increased the volume of the TV a lot. Also, she had locked the children in the room. After coming to the ground floor, the daughter-in-law reached her father-in-law’s room, where she first locked her father-in-law’s room from inside and then started taking off his clothes. During this, the daughter-in-law started hitting the father-in-law’s head with a cricket bat kept nearby.
‘The body was lying nude’
Aarti kept hitting the father-in-law’s head until he died. After this, when the woman living on the second floor came down, she saw that blood was flowing in Pati Singh’s room. As soon as the police came to know about the case, they reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem and then they started investigating the case. Police said that the body of the deceased was lying nude. Police took action in the case and arrested the accused daughter-in-law.
Aarti made serious allegations against father-in-law
After confessing the crime, daughter-in-law Aarti told the police that after the death of her husband, her father-in-law had a bad eye on me. He had also done obscene acts many times. On Friday evening also, he had tried to drag me into the room. After which I planned this murder.
