Hyderabad: Famous singer Mika Singh has promised to give Rs 11 lakh to the auto driver who took Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan to the hospital on time. Bhajan Singh Rana took the injured Saif Ali Khan to the hospital on January 16. The same day Saif was attacked in his Bandra house.
The Punjabi singer has shared a post on Instagram and praised the auto driver for this noble deed. He also announced a reward of Rs 11 lakh for him. Mika wrote in the Instagram story post, ‘I strongly believe that he deserves a reward of at least Rs 11 lakh for saving India’s favorite superstar. His noble deed is really commendable. If possible, can you please share his contact information with me? I would like to reward him with Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.’
Saif Ali Khan met the auto driver for a while before getting discharged from the hospital. The actor hugged auto driver Bhajan Singh Rana and thanked him for his good work. Saif’s mother Sharmila Tagore also blessed Rana.
In fact, on January 16, an intruder stabbed Saif Ali Khan 6 times during an attempt to rob his Bandra home Satguru Sharan. After the attack, he was taken to Lilavati Hospital in an autorickshaw at 2.30 am, where he underwent two surgeries.
In this case, the Mumbai Police took immediate action and started looking for the attacker. On January 19, the Mumbai Police arrested the attacker, Bangladeshi resident Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, from Thane in Mumbai. He was produced before a metropolitan magistrate’s court on Sunday afternoon, where the court sentenced him to 5 days of police custody.
