Hardoi. Former MLA Subhash Pasi, who did fraud in the name of getting property in Mumbai, used to target influential people along with his wife Reena Pasi. The former MLA met businessman Akshay Agarwal, who was a victim of fraud, in the year 2017 at Royal Cafe Lucknow. Akshay himself did the property deal, introduced him to Railwayganj businessman Prakash Chandra Gupta and he also got him to meet Excise Minister Nitin Agarwal’s sister Ruchi Goyal. The former MLA also committed fraud with him.
After the matter going on since 2017 was exposed, an FIR was registered in 2023 and now the former MLA could be arrested. He was sent to jail on Thursday.
Former MLA Subhash Pasi, a resident of Malviyanagar Saidapur, Ghazipur, was a two-time MLA from SP and contested the 2022 elections on a BJP ticket from the Nishad Party quota, but lost. He used to call himself a property dealer and not a leader in getting property in Mumbai. Businessman Akshay Agarwal had told in the FIR that in July 2017 he was having dinner with his two friends at Royal Cafe Lucknow, when he met Subhash Pasi’s wife Reena Pasi. He had told that he was a resident of Patelwadi Santakunj, Mumbai. Subhash came home in August 2017 and showed the maps of the flat in Mumbai. Then the deal was done for two crore rupees.
He took 25 lakhs on 18 August 2017 and 24 lakhs on 12 October 2017 through RTGS. After taking the money, he started making excuses. When he went to Mumbai, he came to know that the property which Subhash had told about was in the name of Mahadev Baba Saheb. In this case, an FIR of fraud was registered against Subhash and Reena. Akshay had arranged the meeting of businessman Prakash Chandra Gupta and Prakash had introduced Subhash Pasi to Ruchi Goyal.
Subhash had taken 49 lakh rupees from Ruchi also. The second FIR in the same case was lodged by Prakash Chandra Gupta. Kotwali city police also filed gangster charges against both of them, but they neither appeared in court nor could the police arrest them. Police went to Mumbai many times, but they were not caught. When Superintendent of Police Neeraj Kumar Jadoun sent a team, Subhash was arrested on Tuesday and after presenting him before a magistrate in Mumbai, he was brought to Hardoi. Kotwali city police presented him in court on Thursday, from where he was sent to jail. Right now Reena Pasi is being searched.
