Lucknow. 30 PCS officers of the state can get promoted to IAS. Union Public Service Commission has given the date of DPC for the last financial year on 17 January. The state has got 15 vacancies for last year. The state government will demand from the Center to declare the vacancies of this year as well. In such a situation, a proposal to conduct DPC simultaneously for both the selection years can also be sent to the commission.
Let us tell you that Union Public Service Commission declares vacancies for promotion from PCS to IAS for the states every year. The state has got 15 vacancies for last year. On the basis of these vacancies, DPC should have been done, but it could not be done. Now this is being considered at a high level.
Union Public Service Commission will demand from the Central Government
A request should be made to the Central Government to declare vacancies for this selection year. If the Center declares the vacancies, then DPC of both last year and this year should be done simultaneously. If permission is not granted then DPC for promotion of 15 officers for the previous selection year will be conducted on January 17.
