Agra. The sub-inspector posted at Etmaddaula police station had a heart attack while sleeping on Sunday night. In the morning, when his sister and brother-in-law staying in another room of the hotel called him and he did not pick up the phone, the police was informed. The relatives took him to the hospital with the police. There the doctors declared him dead.
The cause of death in the post-mortem report is cardiac arrest. The girl’s family was to come on Monday to talk about the sub-inspector’s relationship. Officers and policemen saluted him in the police line.
Amit Yadav, originally a resident of Budsaini village of Balaini police station in Baghpat, was recruited as a sub-inspector in the police in 2020 through the deceased dependent quota. After transfer from Ghaziabad a year ago, he was posted in Etmaddaula police station in Agra.
The girl’s family was to come to talk about the relationship
Inspector Devendra Kumar Dubey said that the girl’s side was to come to talk about Amit’s relationship on Monday. His sister and brother-in-law had come on Sunday itself for the preparations. Amit had made them stay in KS Hotel. After having dinner with both of them at night, Amit took a room on the ground floor of the hotel and stayed there. When his sister called him at 7:30 in the morning, the call was not received. After this, the sister informed the police station. When the room was opened in front of the police, Amit was found unconscious inside. He was taken to the nearby Krishna Hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead.

After the post-mortem, all the police officers and policemen including DCP City saluted him in the police line. The relatives left for their ancestral home with the dead body.
Inspector died of heart attack
Brother-in-law Amit Yadav said that Inspector Amit was the only son of the family. There was a conversation over dinner at 11:30 pm on Sunday night. Son Parikshit kept playing with his uncle for a long time. After this, he left on some information. When he returned at 1 o’clock in the night, he could not talk due to late night. In the morning, when his health deteriorated, he was taken to the hospital but could not be saved. Wife Rashmi fainted after hearing the news of his death. Mother Sarla and younger sister are also crying badly after getting the news of his death.
