Peter Joseph, a resident of Kotwali police station area of Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, killed his wife and mother-in-law. After killing them, he sat on the bed near the blood-soaked bodies. Hearing the screams coming from the house before the murder, the neighbors informed the police about the matter. The police reached the spot and broke the door of the house and entered inside. Seeing the scene inside, the police themselves were surprised that how the accused was sitting comfortably after committing two murders.
The accused Peter Joseph did not run away from there after killing his wife and mother-in-law and sat there near the bodies. The police arrested the accused and started interrogation. The accused told during interrogation why he killed his wife and mother-in-law. The accused revealed that he was married to his own aunt’s daughter Kamini Singh in the year 2017. Both had a love marriage. According to Peter, he left his home, family and everything for Kamini but Kamini betrayed him.
Wife was having an affair!
Peter said that he has no regrets or remorse for committing the murder. That is why he did not even flee from the spot. He told that the deceased Kamini Singh, i.e. the wife of the accused, was cheating on him. She was having an extra marital affair with a boy from Delhi. Peter said that he tried to convince his wife a lot. He explained to her again and again, but she did not listen. That is why he killed her and the mother-in-law was also supporting her daughter.
Love marriage happened 7 years ago
Peter works in the canteen of a private company in Delhi. He married his aunt’s daughter Kamini 7 years ago. After marriage, his wife started living in her maternal home, so her husband i.e. Peter also started living with her. Despite love marriage, Peter used to doubt Kamini and quarrels started between the two after a few days of marriage. When Kamini used to talk on the phone, the husband used to think that she was having an affair.
Could not live in suffocation
According to Peter, even on the night of the murder, Kamini was talking to her lover on the phone. Peter refused but she did not listen. The quarrel over this matter escalated so much that Peter killed his wife in a fit of rage. When his mother-in-law came to intervene, he killed her too. Peter said that I could not live a suffocated life any longer. I was betrayed even after leaving everything. The biggest fault in this was of my aunt, who was instigating my wife.
