Prayagraj. Ashutosh Pandey, a party to the Mathura Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi and Shahi Idgah dispute case, has been threatened with a bomb blast over the phone. The threat says that the country’s big temples, Supreme Court and Allahabad High Court, Prayagraj Junction will be blown up with a bomb. The threat has been given on WhatsApp from a Pakistani number.
GRP, Prayagraj has registered a case and is investigating the matter. Ashutosh told that the Krishna Janmabhoomi case was to be heard in the High Court on Tuesday. For this, he was coming to Prayagraj from Delhi by Brahmaputra train.
On reaching near Aligarh late on Monday night between 1:37 and 1:40, voice messages came on his mobile phone from a Pakistani number (+93161832314) and he was threatened with a bomb blast.
In the case, SP GRP Prayagraj Abhishek Yadav said that after registering a case, we are investigating the matter. An intensive search operation has also been carried out at Prayagraj Junction. GRP has been put on alert.
It is worth noting that Ashutosh Pandey has received threats earlier as well. Last Thursday, Pandey had told that he had received a call from a Pakistani number at 9.30 pm on Wednesday night, in which the caller threatened him to back off from the ongoing dispute over the temple and Shahi Masjid Idgah. The accused had said that if he tried to go to the High Court on November 19, he would be blown up with a bomb.
The victim had complained to Kandhla police over the phone. No written complaint was given to the police by the victim’s side. According to the victim, he had received threats in January as well, but the police did not take any action. The ASP says that the matter is being investigated, after which further action will be taken.
Preparation of attachment against Ashutosh Pandey
Govind Nagar police is preparing for attachment against Ashutosh Pandey, the plaintiff in the dispute case of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura. The police had earlier registered a case against him on the charge of not paying the money after buying a car. Now a notice of attachment proclamation against him was pasted on his residence in Kandhla area of Shamli on Wednesday. Since he is absconding, the police now want to attach his property.
