A case of fraud of Rs 25 lakh has come to light from Jagdish Patni, father of famous Bollywood actress Disha Patni and retired police officer, who hails from Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh. He was cheated in the name of getting him a high post in the government and chairman-vice chairman in the commission. Disha Patni’s father Jagdish Patni lodged a complaint in the city police station regarding the fraud. On the complaint of Jagdish Patni, a case was registered against the accused.
Actress Disha Patni’s father Jagdish Patni was lured with a high post in the government and a chairman and vice chairman in the commission. After being cheated, Jagdish Patni complained about the whole matter to SSP Anurag Arya. On the instructions of the SSP, the city Kotlawi police registered a case against five people including the Acharya of Juna Akhara on charges of fraud, forgery and cheating. The police has started investigating the whole matter.
Disha Patni’s father lives in Civil Lines

Jagdish Patni has retired from the post of CO from UP Police. In the complaint given to the city police station, he told that the accused Shivendra Pratap Singh is his acquaintance. Shivendra used to visit his house. Shivendra got him to meet Diwakar Garg and Acharya Jaiprakash of Juna Akhara.
5 lakh rupees in cash and 20 lakhs in bank accounts
These people introduced themselves to big political people and said that they will get them the post of chairman, vice-chairman and other prestigious posts in government commissions. After winning their trust, the accused took a total of 25 lakh rupees from them. The accused got five lakh rupees in cash and 20 lakh rupees transferred to three different bank accounts. Jagdish Patni told that when no work was done in three months, the accused promised to return the money with interest, but when he asked for his money back, the accused started threatening and started demanding extortion.
FIR registered against the accused on the orders of SSP
Jagdish Patni alleged that this gang dupes people by claiming false political contacts. Initially, the accused claimed that the work is in progress and introduced a person to him by calling him OSD Himanshu to give false confidence, but even after months, the promise was not fulfilled and he kept saying ‘Aajkal, Aajkal’. Troubled, Jagdish Patni complained about the whole matter to Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya. On the orders of SSP, a case was registered against the accused in the city police station.
Bareilly police registered FIR against these people
Bareilly’s city police station registered a case and started searching for the accused. A report has been registered in the police station against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Preeti Garg, Acharya Jaiprakash and OSD Himanshu under sections of fraud, threat and forgery. In this entire matter, Inspector Kotwali DK Sharma said that the hideouts of the accused are being identified and strict action will be taken against them.
