Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has called an important meeting of the National Executive on Tuesday. It is believed that in this meeting she can be elected as the National President of the party once again. In this meeting to be held today, Mayawati will brainstorm on the strategy for the preparations of the upcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana and Maharashtra as well as the by-elections to be held on 10 seats in UP.
Akash Anand will start the election campaign after the meeting
According to BSP party sources, National Coordinator Akash Anand will start the election campaign after this meeting. BSP has decided the names of candidates as Assembly constituency in-charges on six seats in Uttar Pradesh. Along with the preparations going on for these seats, the names of candidates for the remaining seats will be discussed.
No intention of retirement – Mayawati
BSP Chief Mayawati has already claimed that she has no intention of retiring from politics right now. This statement of the BSP Chief has made it clear that it is certain that Mayawati will be elected as the National President of the party again in the meeting of the National Executive of the party.
Akash Anand’s stature may increase
