Agra. On the eve of Rakshabandhan, when the whole country was worried about the safety of sisters, two miscreants living in the market next to her crossed all limits to harass a daughter. They kept following her on a bike for about two and a half kilometers, passing lewd comments.
They tried to make her fall along with the scooty by cutting her several times. When a policeman in plain clothes coming from behind on a bike saw all this, he stopped the miscreants. On this, they also reprimanded the policeman. The policeman went ahead and informed the police post. After this, both the miscreants were caught.
A case was registered in Chhatta police station on the complaint of the in-charge of Anti Romeo Squad. Both the accused riding the bike have been arrested and sent to jail. The video of the incident was also broadcast on social media on Monday.
The incident happened at nine o’clock
On Sunday night at nine o’clock, a girl was going from Victoria Park to Belanganj on a scooty. On the way, the scooty ran out of petrol. When she asked for help from three youths who were going behind on a bike, they agreed to drop her at the pump by supporting the scooty with their feet. The girl was going on the scooty with the help of three youths. She had gone a little distance when two youths came from behind on a bike and started passing lewd remarks.
The youths helping the girl were threatened
When the youths helping the girl tried to protest, they were threatened. Meanwhile, traffic police constable Rajiv Kumar arrived on a bike. When he saw the actions of the two youths, he stopped them. Since he was not in uniform, both the youths threatened the constable.
Sensing the matter, constable Rajiv left quickly and stopped the bike at Belanganj Chowki and informed about the incident. After this, he stood on the way with the policemen of the post. Both the youths coming behind the girl’s scooty were caught.
These two youths were caught
ACP Chhatta Hemant Kumar said, among the youths caught are Yusuf of Guddi Mansoor Khan and Firoz of Hing Ki Mandi. The girl refused to file a written complaint in the matter. There is a 25-second video of the accused’s actions, based on which a case was registered against the accused in Chhatta police station by Sub Inspector Prachi Chaudhary of Anti Romeo Squad. Both were sent to jail by the ACP court.
