Prayagraj. The Allahabad High Court has dismissed the PIL filed regarding the statement of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in which he had said that ‘the organization is bigger than the government’. A division bench of Chief Justice Arun Bhasali and Justice Vikas Budhwar said, ‘There is no substance in the petition.
A statement given in a personal capacity on the party forum has no meaning.’ The court said that this statement is on the party forum, not on the government forum while holding a constitutional post. Keshav Prasad Maurya is not only the Deputy Chief Minister but also a member of the party. Being the Deputy Chief Minister does not end the relationship with the party.
For this reason, a petition has been filed on the basis of news published in the newspaper regarding the statement given at the party level. There is no force in the petition. For this reason, it is dismissed. This PIL was filed by advocate Manjesh Kumar Yadav in the High Court. It also mentioned other cases registered against the Deputy Chief Minister.
