Trial is also going on in the court against Shahid’s three associates. They are lodged in different districts of Uttar Pradesh. Shahid, one of the three absconding accused in this case, has been arrested from the house of Mansoor Ansari, who is very close to the Ansari family. After this, the family of mafia don Mukhtar Ansari has once again come into the limelight.
Ghazipur SP Omvir Singh said that a notice under CrPC 82 has been issued by the court against Shahid, a 25 thousand reward criminal of Mukhtar Ansari’s gang. Despite this, he was absconding instead of appearing.
The SP said that this gangster accused was absconding in the Manoj Rai murder case in Mohammadabad and the ambulance case in Barabanki. Mukhtar Ansari’s cousin Mansoor Ansari, who has been his declared associate, has been arrested from his house. Mansoor was his shelter provider, who is currently absconding. The police is also searching for him.
At the same time, deceased Mukhtar’s wife Afsha Ansari is still absconding in criminal cases. On the question asked about Afsha, the SP said that a tip has also been received about her. The police is also working on her. At present, after the arrest of Shahid’s son Qurban, Ghazipur police has registered a new case against the Ansari family for sheltering criminals.
