Moradabad. Fifteen years ago, Vineeta Singh had come to Kanabi village of Bilari by taking seven rounds of fire with the resolve to accompany Nepal Singh alias Bhola for seven births. When the same Vineeta abused her husband who had come drunk, she gave him Taliban punishment. As soon as the drunk husband started muttering while lying on the cot, the wife tied him to the cot. He was beaten so brutally that he died on the spot.
After conducting the post-mortem, the police have handed over the body to the family members. The police have registered an FIR in the case on behalf of the deceased’s brother Dharmendra on charges of culpable homicide and have taken the wife into custody.
This is the whole matter
Nepal Singh alias Bhola, resident of Kanobi village of Bilari Kotwali, was addicted to drinking alcohol. Every day he had disputes with his wife Vineeta Singh over drinking alcohol. Deceased’s brother Dharmendra Singh told that Bhola used to come home drunk every day, due to which his wife used to get angry and used to beat him with a stick.
Even on Tuesday evening, Bhola reached home under the influence of alcohol. Due to this he started having disputes with his wife. During this, Bhola started abusing. At that time the wife left Bhola after beating him with a stick or two. As soon as he lay down on the cot and started mumbling, his wife tied him to the cot and started beating him with a stick.
It is alleged that Vineeta beat her husband throughout the night. She continued beating him until he died. Bhola’s uncle Deshraj Singh’s house is in the neighbourhood. He was sleeping in the courtyard of his house. Vineeta reached him in the early hours of Wednesday. She said, uncle, come on, Bhola is not speaking.
When Deshraj Singh went and saw, Bhola had stopped breathing. He told Vineeta that Bhola had died. You just killed him. After this there was noise. Dharmendra Singh, younger brother of the deceased, who lived in the neighbourhood, also came. Apart from this, other family members also reached the spot.
On receiving information about the incident, CO Rajesh Kumar, police station in-charge Ravindra Pratap Singh along with the forensic team went to the spot and conducted investigation. Police reached the spot on information. The police have handed over the body to the family members after conducting post-mortem.
