At the same time, on Saturday evening, the body of Haji Babu was found packed in a sack near Usmapur village near Bombay. After this the family members have accused him of kidnapping and murder.
Family members of the deceased leader said that on Friday afternoon, 70-year-old Haji Mohammad Umar alias Haji Babu had left on a scooter to meet someone in Kalindi Kunj Colony. When he did not return till late evening, when the family members contacted him on phone, there was no response. When the family members took information from the people whom they were going to meet in Kalindi Kunj, they did not reach there either.
Police first found BSP leader’s mobile
After this the family reached the police station. Informed the police about Haji Babu’s disappearance. Based on the information of family members, the police registered a missing person and started investigation. When the police team investigated late in the night, Haji Babu’s mobile was recovered in Kalindi Kunj Colony. Started checking nearby CCTV.
Scooty found on the banks of Bombay
SP Dehat Bajrang Bali Chaurasia and CO Dilip Singh also reached the spot. SP Dehat formed four teams and started the investigation. The police team was investigating on Saturday evening. Then Haji Babu’s scooter was found parked on the side of Usmapur Bombay near the road leading to Usmapur via Kilagaon Road.
BSP leader’s body found in a sack
When the police recovered the scooter and searched it, a suspicious object was seen in the sack at some distance. When the police opened the sack, they found Haji Babu’s bloody body inside.
