Lucknow. In view of the Kanwar Yatra, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to ban the sale and purchase of meat in the open anywhere on the yatra route. A press release from the Uttar Pradesh government said, “Respecting the faith of the Kanwar devotees, there should be no open sale and purchase of meat anywhere on the Kanwar Yatra route. Cleanliness should be maintained on the Yatra route. ” Apart from this, arrangements for drinking water will also be made on the way. It was said that, “In view of the extreme heat, arrangements for drinking water should also be made on the way. Wherever food camps are set up, the team should check the quality of the food items.”
Give respect to faith, but don’t start any new tradition: CM Yogi
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given strict instructions after reviewing the law and order and the arrangements being made for the facilities of the devotees on the coming festivals. CM Yogi asked the senior officials to give respect to faith but lest any new tradition should start. The place of sacrifice on Bakrid should be pre-decided and the sacrifice should be done there. In any case, it should also be ensured that there is no sacrifice of banned animals. A strict vigil should be kept on the mischievous elements, so that no one can try to spoil the atmosphere.
Meat should not be sold in the open on the Kanwar Yatra route
CM Yogi said that meat should not be sold in the open on the Kanwar Yatra routes. There should be no display of weapons in religious processions and yatras. The CM said that the month of Shravan is starting from July 4, which will be of two months due to Adhimas this year. Extensive arrangements should be made for security and cleanliness during the Shravani Shivratri, Nagpanchami and Raksha Bandhan festivals. In view of the increasing number of devotees, security arrangements should be made at Kashi, Ayodhya and other major places in coordination with the temple administration. CM Yogi said that CCTV cameras should be installed on the routes of traditional Kanwar Yatra and the places of Kanwar camp should be marked in advance. There should be adequate arrangements for drinking water and health camps.
‘Full vigilance and vigilance was exercised at every level even on Bakrid’
CM Yogi said that Bakrid will be celebrated on June 29. This time is sensitive from the point of view of law and order. That’s why full vigilance and alertness should be exercised at every level. In the past, traffic was not affected due to religious events on the occasion of Ramzan month and Eid, which was appreciated across the country. Said that similar system will have to be implemented on the occasion of Bakrid and Muharram. Communicate with the local administration, religious leaders and elite citizens. There should be arrangements for systematic disposal of waste after sacrifice in every district. Otherwise the waste becomes the cause of disease. Full vigilance should be taken regarding this.
Weapons should not be displayed in religious processions/processions. No such incident should happen, due to which religious sentiments get hurt. The apprehension of creating disturbance by mischievous elements by unnecessarily inciting the people of any community cannot be ruled out. That’s why every small and big incident should be taken seriously and additional police force should be deployed in sensitive areas.
