Sonbhadra. A young man kept raping a tribal girl from a village in Manchi police station area for several months. Then married her after changing her religion. The police have registered a case and started searching for the accused.
Manchi police said that a resident of a village in the area told through Tahrir that he is a poor person from the Scheduled Tribe community. Aslam, a resident of Palhari village, lured his 15-year-old daughter and took her to Chandauli in Naugarh district a month ago. There she was raped for about a month. On being informed, the police recovered him.
Later a settlement was made between both the parties and the girl came to his house. On May 2, Aslam again abducted his daughter, brainwashed her, converted her and married her, while Aslam is already married. When Aslam came home with his daughter after marriage, we opposed it.
