New Delhi. Rajasthan leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal (4/25) wreaked havoc on Kolkata Knight Riders batsmen and Yashasvi Jaiswal (98 not out) bowlers at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. The result was that Rajasthan defeated KKR by 9 wickets. Batting first, Kolkata scored 149 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs, which Rajasthan achieved by losing just 1 wicket in 13.1 overs.
After winning the toss, Rajasthan decided to bowl first. Bad start for KKR. The team got the first blow to KKR on the score of 14. Jason Roy got out after scoring 10 runs. The second wicket fell on the score of 29. Rahmanullah Gurbaz became the victim of Boult after scoring 18 runs. Venkatesh held one end and brought up his half-century off 39 balls. He was also dismissed after scoring 57 runs. Nitish Rana played an inning of 22 runs. Rinku Singh contributed 16 runs. In front of Yuzvendra Chahar’s deadly bowling, Kolkata scored 149 runs while falling.
Yashasvi Jaiswal’s storm after Chahal

Jaiswal scored an unbeaten 98 off 47 balls with the help of 13 fours and 5 sixes. At the same time, Samson remained unbeaten on 48 off 29 balls with the help of two fours and 5 sixes.
Rajasthan steps towards playoff
With this win, Rajasthan have taken another step towards the playoffs while Kolkata’s road has become difficult. Yashasvi made a new record of scoring a half-century in the least 13 balls in IPL, while Chahal also created history by taking 4 wickets and became the highest wicket-taker with 187 wickets. In this season, Yashasvi has 575 runs in 12 matches and Chahal has got the maximum 21 wickets.
