In the second and last phase of the municipal elections in Uttar Pradesh, voting has ended in 38 districts of the state. On May 11, on Thursday morning in 38 districts of Uttar Pradesh including Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Hapur, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Bareilly, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Kanpur Nagar, Kanpur Dehat and Amethi. Voting started at 7 pm and polling ended at 7 pm.
First of all, let’s talk about Amethi, till 7 pm in the district Amethi, a total of 64.90% voting took place. Amethi’s Nagar Palika Parishad Gauriganj saw 67.33% polling, Jais Nagar Palika Parishad 59.20%, Amethi Nagar Panchayat 66.78% and Mukhana Nagar Panchayat 79.57%. Voting has concluded in Amethi with minor incidents. Voting has ended at all the booths in the district. The ballot box is being sealed and sent to the strong room.
Barabanki district 53.40% polling
Out of total 4,09,483 voters in Barabanki district, 53.40% voters cast their vote. Voters cast their votes at polling booths of one municipality and 13 town panchayats of the district. As many as 113 candidates tried their luck for the post of president of one municipality and 13 town panchayats. In 14 municipal bodies of the district, 1065 candidates contested for the posts of 204 members. A total of 64.23% voters of the district had cast their votes in the 2017 civic body elections of Barabanki. On the other hand, in the municipal elections of district Baghpat, a total of 63.12 percent polling has taken place till 6 pm.

In Banda district, 51.50% polling was recorded till 5 pm. 48.98 ℅ in Banda Municipality, 51.58 in Atarra, 57.78 in Matoundh, 59.91 in Bisanda, 6.50 in Naraini, 6.70 in Beru, 72.60 in Oran, 6.25 percent voting has been registered in Tindwari. And in Baghpat district, 65.77 percent polling has been recorded till 5 pm. 60% in Baraut, 61.63% in Baghpat, 63.98% in Khekra, 71.99% in Doghat, 62% in Tikri, 82.58% in Aminagar Sarai, 64.24 in Titi. %, 62.76% in Rataul and 62.79% in Chhaprauli.
53.07% voting has been recorded till 5 pm in Ballia district. 45.23 in Ballia, 60.95 in Rasra, 62.47 in Chitbadgaon, 55.84 in Nagra, 60.42 in Belthara, 57.81 in Sikandarpur, 52.48 in Maniyar, 53.59 in Bansdih, 57.05 in Sahatwar, 60.71 in Revathi, 50.08 in Bairia, Ratsar Kala 53.94 percent voting in happened.
57.57% polling in Hathras district
On the other hand, 57.57% polling has been recorded in Hathras district. 44.85 in Hathras Municipality, 61.58 in Sikandrarau, 53.27 in Sadabad, 72.24 in Sasni, 66.79 in Mursan Nagar Panchayat, Hasain 79.43, 57.12 in Sahapau, 63.16 in Mendu, 64.97 percent polling has been recorded in Purdilnagar. In Mirzapur, 48.94% voting has been done till 5 pm. 43.98% voting has been recorded in Nagar Palika Parishad Mirzapur, 63.13% in Chunar, 69.66% in Ahraura, 60% in Nagar Panchayat Kachhwa.
