Mafia Atiq Ahmed has been convicted by Prayagraj’s MP-MLA court in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case. When Ateeq Ahmed was being taken inside the court, the lawyers started raising slogans against Ateeq Ahmed. Slogans of Atik Murdabad and Phansi Do-Phansi Do were raised. During this, Atiq’s face kept descending.
Atiq Ahmed has been convicted today in a 17 year old case. Actually, Umesh Pal, who has been accused of killing Atiq, was kidnapped by Atiq Ahmed in 2006. After torturing for 24 hours, Atiq got Umesh Pal to testify in his favor. But a year after the incident, Umesh Pal had filed a case against Atiq under serious sections.

What is Umesh Pal kidnapping case?
On 28 February 2006, Umesh Pal was abducted by Atiq Ahmed’s gang. Umesh Pal was abducted and taken to the office in Karbala area. He was beaten up. He was even given electric shocks and forced to sign an affidavit, on March 1, 2006, he was also made to testify in the court that he was not present at the scene of Raju Pal’s murder.
Atiq Ahmed had once got Umesh Pal to testify in his favor in the court, but as soon as the UP government changed in 2007, on July 5, Umesh Pal abducted, assaulted, threatened and threatened 10 others besides MP Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. A case was registered on the charges of such crimes.
In this case named FIR 270/2007, Atiq Ahmed, his brother Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, Dinesh Pasi, Khan Saukat Hanif, Ansar Baba were made accused. During the investigation, Javed alias Bajju, Farhan, Abid, Israr, Asif alias Malli, Ejaz Akhtar were also made accused. The court had framed charges in 2009 as soon as the police report was filed.
After this, the process of testimony started in the court, then a total of 8 witnesses, including policemen, appeared on behalf of Umesh Pal, while the Atiq gang got testimony from 54 witnesses.
After this, when there was a delay in the hearing of Umesh Pal’s case, Umesh Pal approached the High Court. After the order of the High Court, the hearing was completed in 2 months and after giving the last testimony in the same hearing, Umesh Pal had returned home when he was murdered.
