Prayagraj: The MP-MLA court of Prayagraj has given its verdict in the Umesh Pal kidnapping case. In this case, along with Atiq Ahmed, two other accused Hanif and Dinesh Pasi have been convicted by the court. All three have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the court, while seven others including Ashraf have been acquitted. Judge Dinesh Chandra Shukla has given this decision. Atiq Ahmed is also accused of killing Umesh Pal.
In the kidnapping case of Umesh Pal, Atiq Ahmed, Ashraf, Dinesh Pasi and Khan Soulat Hanif, Israr, Abid Pradhan, Javed, Farhan, Malli and Ejaz Akhtar were accused. It is being told that the court will announce the punishment today itself. At the same time, Jaya Pal, wife of Umesh Pal, has expressed the hope that the court will give the harshest punishment to Atiq and other criminals. Jaya Pal has said that Atiq should not get less punishment than hanging. The court had reserved the verdict on March 17.
BSP leader Raju Pal was murdered in the year 2005. The witness of this murder case was Umesh. At the same time, the main accused were Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf. Atiq wanted Umesh to withdraw from this case. Therefore, on February 28, 2006, he was abducted by Atiq’s henchmen. According to Umesh, Ateeq wanted him to go to the court and say that he was not present at the scene. However, he remained silent for a whole year and as soon as the BSP government came to power, he went to the police station to complain about the abduction case. Did. He had accused 10 people including Atiq, Ashraf.
On February 24, he was shot dead by miscreants in Prayagraj. During this, two security guards also died. The miscreants carried out the incident when Umesh was returning home after defending his kidnapping case from the court. In this murder case, the police have also made Atiq’s wife Shaista an accused. Where has Shaista said, in this regard the police officials have said that she has absconded. The police has declared a reward on Shaista. At the same time, a reward of five lakhs each has been announced against other criminals as well.
