By winning this match, the Afghanistan team captured the series 2-0. Batting first in the match, the Pakistan team scored 130 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, the Afghanistan team achieved the target with one ball to spare and won by 7 wickets.

Actually, after winning the toss, the Pakistan Cricket Team decided to bat first. Batting first, the Pakistan team got off to a poor start. After this Tayyab Tahir scored 12 runs in 23 balls. Imad Wasin scored the most runs for the team. He faced an unbeaten 64 off 57 balls, which included 3 fours and 2 sixes. After this, Afghanistan Cricket Team got off to a great start chasing the target of 131 runs. For the team, openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Usman Ghani shared a 30-run partnership for the first wicket. Ghani got out after scoring 7 runs in just 9 balls. After this Gurbaj and Ibrahim Zadran handled the team’s innings.
Gurbaj scored 44 off 49 balls while Zadran was dismissed for 38. At the same time, Najibullah Zadran also scored an unbeaten 23 off 12 balls. He was supported by Mohammad Nabi, who scored an unbeaten 14 off 9 balls. Whereas, Naseem Shah and Zaman Khan got 1-1 success from Pakistan team.
With this victory, Rashid Khan became the first captain from the Afghanistan team, who won a series against Pakistan in international cricket.
