Varanasi. The information received by the Varanasi police after the death of two miscreants in a police encounter was quite shocking. Actually this scoundrel turned out to be a real brother. There are five brothers in his family. While one brother had escaped during the encounter in the morning, the other brother is serving a sentence in Jharkhand jail on charges of a heinous incident. While one brother is different from all four and takes care at home. It is alleged that this miscreant had killed a sub-inspector and a constable in Varanasi before shooting at the sub-inspector.
Both the miscreants Rajneesh Singh and Manish Singh and their third absconding brother Lallan, who were killed on Monday morning in Baragaon area of Varanasi, escaped by breaking the toilet wall of Patna’s flood district court on September 9, 2022 this year. After absconding, the Bihar Police was continuously looking for him. But, these days these miscreants had started their misdeeds in Varanasi. But after shooting the constable, he came on the radar of the police. After absconding, the three brothers fled from Patna and took shelter in Varanasi.
According to the Bihar Police, on March 6, 2017, the three brothers had looted Rs 60 lakh in broad daylight from the PNB bank branch near Baghatilha village under Belchhi police station area of Patna. Bank guards Yogeshwar Paswan, Suresh Singh and driver Ajit Yadav were shot dead during the robbery. According to the police, all these three brothers were accused of this incident. All three were earlier accused of killing a sub-inspector and an ASI in Bihar itself.
Bihar Police told that there are five brothers in total, one of them is simple and lives in a village in Samastipur, his other brother is lodged in jail in Jharkhand for some serious crime. The rest of these three real brothers were continuously carrying out incidents of crime in an organized manner. In Varanasi, after looting a pistol after attacking a constable, he came under the notice of the police and was killed in an encounter on Monday morning.
