Amroha. A major accident took place on the Hasanpur road in Gajraula in the early hours of Wednesday. Here an auto was badly damaged due to a heavy vehicle collision and out of the five people in it, four died on the spot, while one person was seriously injured. On getting information about the accident, the police officials also reached the spot and took stock of the incident. The bodies have been sent for postmortem house.
The accident happened around 4 am on Wednesday. Five people, including 20-year-old Naubat Singh, Raj Bahadur, Anuj, Devendra, residents of village Sarangpur Majral in police station Kailadevi area of Sambhal district, were going to Ghaziabad in a three wheeler. He used to work there. A heavy vehicle hit a three wheeler in front of the evergreen nursery near Sihali Jagir village located on Hasanpur road in Gajraula. Devendra Singh was seriously injured in the accident.
Police sent the bodies for postmortem
All the other four people died. One of the deceased has not been identified. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police also reached the spot and took the dead bodies to the government hospital in Gajraula. From here again he was sent to Amroha for the post-mortem house. The injured are undergoing treatment. However, which vehicle caused the accident? To know about this, the police are scanning the CCTV cameras installed near the spot.
The marriage of the deceased Naubat Singh took place four months ago.
Naubat Singh, who was a victim of the accident, was married only four months ago. When the relatives came to know about this accident through the police, there was uproar. Cousin Mukesh told that Naubat Singh was married four months ago, his wife’s name is Poonam.
Police checking CCTV footage
CO Gajraula Arun Singh said that four people have died in the accident on Hasanpur road. All are residents of Sambhal district. The four deceased used to work hard in Ghaziabad. At present, their bodies have been sent to Amroha for post-mortem. CCTV cameras around the accident spot are being checked to find out the vehicle from which the accident took place.
