Prayagraj. Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission declared the final result of Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination-2021 on Wednesday. 627 candidates have been declared successful in the examination conducted for a total of 678 posts. In this, Atul Kumar Singh, a resident of Gosainpur village of Mandhata area of Pratapgarh district has topped.

Result released after interview from July 21 to August 5
Public Service Commission declared the result of the main examination on 12 July 2022, in which 1285 candidates appeared for the interview. After this, the interview was conducted between July 21 and August 5. 25 candidates were absent in the interview.
There were 29 different types of posts in this examination of the commission, mainly Deputy District Magistrate (SDM), Deputy Superintendent of Police (CO), Assistant Divisional Transport Officer (ARTO), Block Development Officer (BDO), District Panchayat Raj Officer ( DPRO), Executive Officer Category-1 / Assistant Municipal Commissioner, Superintendent Prison, District Commandant Home Guards, Deputy Registrar, Principal, Deputy Jailor posts are included. According to the secretary of the commission, Alok Kumar, the total number of vacancies for all 29 types of posts is 678. In this, the basis of selection on three types of posts is written examination only, in which the number of posts is 55. Apart from this, the basis of selection for the remaining 26 types of posts is written examination and interview, in which the total number of posts is 623. In this way, against a total of 678 vacancies, 627 candidates have been declared successful.
Apart from this, for the remaining 51 vacancies (two of Labor Enforcement Officer and 49 posts of Principal), the posts have remained vacant due to non-availability of suitable candidates. According to the secretary of the commission, the selection of 120 successful candidates is provisional due to lack of certain records. Along with uploading the result on the website, it has also been pasted on the notice board of the Commission’s office. The recommendations of the selected candidates will be sent to the government soon. After that the marks obtained by the candidates and post wise/category wise cut off marks will be displayed on the website of the commission.
