New Delhi. The series of players getting injured in the T20 World Cup 2022 is not taking the name of stopping. The new update is related to Australia, whose wicket-keeper batsman Josh Inglis has been ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022. However, he was included as a reserve player. He was injured while playing golf on Wednesday. He suffered a hand injury while playing golf in Sydney.
Inglis was evaluated at the hospital yesterday after it was found that the injury to his right arm would heal soon but he was ruled out of the tournament.
Australia coach McDonald has said that we have to work out whether we go to the World Cup without a back-up keeper because what if Matthew Wade gets injured? There is no back-up in the team either.
Talking about the English, he has played 9 T20Is so far. Australia will have to seek ICC’s nod for his replacement as he is unable to make a comeback. Inglis was also a part of the last T20 World Cup squad to be held in UAE. Although he got a chance to play only 3 matches.
