Lucknow. 70-year-old Madhubala was shot in the head by miscreants after entering her house in Krishnanagar’s Bhola Kheda in the early hours of Tuesday. The miscreants fled after carrying out the crime. The family members of Madhubala have accused the jailed history sheeter Lalit Sonkar of committing the murder. Police reached the spot and inspected the spot. Inspector Alok Kumar Rai said that raids are on in search of the shooters.
The miscreants came early in the morning
Apart from Madhubala, her son Saujanya, nephew Soumya were at home in the early hours of Tuesday. Madhubala had woken up early when three masked miscreants stormed the house. On hearing the noise, Saujanya and Soumya got up, then two miscreants pointed a gun at them. At the same time, the third caught Madhubala. A miscreant shot Madhubala on the head. Hearing the sound of gunshots, the miscreants fled by the time the neighbors reached. The family members hurriedly took Madhubala to the hospital. Where, the doctors declared him brought dead. Soumya informed the police control room about the incident.
Inspector Krishnanagar Alok Kumar Rai, along with the police force, reached the spot. inspected the spot. On the other hand, the forensic team reached the spot and collected evidence related to the incident. Soumya has accused jailed history sheeter Lalit Sonkar of getting the shooters killed. Inspector told that Madhubala and Lalit have been in dispute for many years. Lalit is a resident of Aminabad. He is currently in jail. Three teams including surveillance have been formed in search of the miscreants. All three teams are raiding.
