15-member team raided
On Monday, a 15-member CBI team from Ghaziabad raided the Cantt Board office. Sanitary supervisor Sanjay Kumar was caught red handed while taking a bribe of one lakh ten thousand here. This amount was taken for the recruitment of sweepers. If sources are to be believed, during the interrogation of CBI, Supervisor Sanjay told that the transaction took place during the promotion of six supervisors. Told that the officers of the Cantt Board had to share in the amount.

After that the CBI team took Sanjay from the Cantt office to his house. The house was searched. CBI has also got some papers from there. From there the CBI team reached the house of Cantt Board CEO Jyoti Kumar. There Jyoti Kumar could not be found by CBI.
Fear of breakup regarding recruitment
During interrogation, the supervisor said that there is a discussion about the transaction regarding the recruitment of eighty sanitation workers to be held in the month of November. Due to this action of CBI, it is believed that there is a big breakup going on in the Cantt Board recruitment. An attempt was made to talk to CEO Jyoti Kumar in this matter but he could not be contacted.
