Lucknow. Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s luxurious kothi located in Sherwaninagar ward of Madianv was attached late on Wednesday evening. This kothi, built in 8600 square feet from illegally acquired property, is recorded in the documents in the name of Shaista Parveen, wife of Atiq. The team that arrived under the leadership of Prayagraj ASP Crime Satish Chandra took the attachment action in collaboration with the Lucknow Police. The cost of the Kothi is said to be around Rs.8 crore.
Before the attachment action, the police team thrashed Dugdugi here. After this the lock of the house was broken by video recording. Sofas and kitchen items were confiscated. The police team then pasted the notice by putting up a board outside the gate. A case has been registered against Ateeq under the section of Gangster Act at Domanganj police station in Prayagraj.
During the attachment process, ACP Aliganj Ashutosh Kumar, Inspector Madianv Anil Kumar Singh, CO Prayagraj Civil Line Nar Narayan Singh, Inspector Domanganj Rajesh Maurya and other police personnel were present. During the operation, there was an atmosphere of hustle and bustle in the entire locality.

The board of the chamber was installed on the Kothi in the name of an advocate. As soon as Prayagraj and Lucknow police reached the spot for attachment action. Meanwhile, four to five advocates also came. He hurriedly removed the flex (board) of the advocate’s chamber on the kothi, after which he left.
