Agra. The police-administration has tightened the law on illegal transportation of Chambal sand and dust from Rajasthan. The action, which started on Wednesday morning, lasted till Thursday. Under this, 53 cases were registered in four police stations. 54 dumpers have been seized for illegal transportation. While eight people were arrested by the police. Along with the cancellation of the permit of the seized dumper, they can also be fined from one to three lakhs.
The game was going on by erasing the numbers of the dumper’s number plate
Illegal transport of Chambal sand, dust and ballast from Rajasthan was going on indiscriminately. Some were running after erasing the numbers of the number plate of the dumper, while some were overloading. Many dumpers did not even have paper. A joint team of Police, Administration and Transport Department was constituted to take action on these. The action started on Wednesday morning under the leadership of SP West Satyajit Gupta.
54 dumper seized in action
The officers of the Transport Department along with SDM Kheragarh and CO Kheragarh checked teams in Saiya, Fatehabad, Malpura and Iradt Nagar on Wednesday morning. The driver and the cleaner fled leaving the dumper. SP West Satyajit Gupta said that 54 dumpers caught during the operation were seized. Police chased and arrested eight people. Most of the seized dumpers had their number plates erased.
Police registered 53 cases
53 cases have been registered in this regard at Saiyan, Iradat Nagar, Malpura and Fatehabad police stations. Of these, the police have become the plaintiffs in the cases of overloading. Whereas in the case of illegal transport and running dumper by erasing the numbers on the number plate, cases have been written by the officials of the Transport Department for cheating and other sections.
Seiz dumpers permits will be canceled
The driver and the owner of the vehicle have been named in the cases. SP West said that the permits of the seized dumpers would be revoked. Along with this, they can be fined one to three lakh rupees by the Transport Department. The vehicle owners will have to get the vehicle released from the court as well as the district magistrate court.

Sweat in writing lawsuits
In the case of illegal mining, 26 cases were registered in Iradat Nagar police station. While 18 cases were registered in Malpura police station. The policemen lost their sweat in writing the cases and completing their studies.
Search for illegal transporters
The seized dumpers were named BS Parmar, Kansana, Tomar and RS Upadhyay. Police questioned the drivers about them. SP West Satyajit Gupta says that on the basis of interrogation, their names are being brought to light in the cases. Efforts are being made to arrest all of them.
