This letter has come into the limelight in the police department of UP only after it went viral. On the one hand, while the people of the police department are taking a jibe about this, on the other hand they are also discussing a lot about the reasons for the holiday.
In fact, due to 24-hour duty and work pressure, policemen sometimes do not even get leave to attend the marriage of their relatives or any happiness and sorrow. In such a situation, especially the women police also looks very upset. Due to non-availability of leave in the police department, sometimes people even say goodbye to the job or even information comes about taking dreadful steps like suicide.
Not only this, due to any festival or sensitive situation in the state, all the holidays are canceled in the police department. In such a situation, the policemen are able to fulfill their responsibilities in the interest of society and the country, but their household responsibilities remain incomplete. The unique application form of the Ballia police personnel also points towards this to some extent.
Let us inform that there is a provision of maternity leave for women and paternity leave for men in the UP Police Department. This leave is 180 days for women and 15 days for men. This leave can be taken only twice during the entire job.
