Kushinagar. A bike-borne miscreants killed a liquor shopkeeper by hitting him with a knife in Mujdiha Bazar of Ahiroli Bazar of Kushinagar district. Carrying out the incident, the miscreants fled in the direction of Partalav Marg. With the help of dog squad, the police is looking for clues about the miscreants. On the complaint of the brother of the deceased, a case of murder has been registered against unknown persons.
This is the case
40-year-old Vyas Muni Yadav resident of Naduabazar police station Sadar Kotwali has a country liquor shop along Pipraich-Partawal road in Mujdiha market of district Maharajganj. He used to stay in the shop with the accountant Sunil resident of Sardiha police station Sadar Kotwali Maharajganj. As usual on Sunday night at 10 pm, Vyasamuni started matching the cash while Sunil started preparing food. At around 11.30 pm, both of them were having food while sitting at the outpost kept in front of the shop, when two youths came and stopped on the bike. Before Vyas Muni and Sunil could understand anything, both came closer and started attacking Vyas Muni’s chest and stomach with a knife.
The attackers kept on stabbing till death
The miscreants continued to strike till Vyasamuni died. Sunil ran away from the spot and hid in the bushes behind the shop. The miscreants fled towards Paratawal after carrying out the incident. Sunil informed about the incident by calling Vyas Muni’s relatives and number 112. The PRV team reached the spot after investigating and informed the police station. SHO Pankaj Kumar Gupta immediately reached the spot, questioned Sunil and started investigation from place to place in search of miscreants. Lalmuni, the younger brother of the deceased, came to the shop with relatives in the night itself.
Pulia filed a case
In the morning, the dog squad team conducted an access check. SP Dhaval Jaiswal said that the shopkeeper had a rivalry or any dispute with someone, etc. A case of murder has been registered on the complaint of the brother of the deceased. Soon the killers will be identified and arrested.
Shop license in mother’s name
The license of a liquor shop is in the name of Draupadi Devi, the mother of the deceased Vyas Muni Yadav.
