Muzaffarnagar. Urmila, a resident of Kailashnagar village of Ratanpuri police station area, was murdered on the night of June 30 with a sharp weapon. The deceased’s son Sandeep had filed a case in unknown.
On Friday, SSP Vineet Jaiswal told in a press conference held at Police Lines that Amit of the village has been caught by the police in this case. During interrogation, Amit told that he and the deceased’s son Sandeep had a close friendship. Both had to go to each other’s house. Told that Sandeep and his sister used to talk on mobile. Due to which the village was getting defamed. A year ago, he was also assaulted by Sandeep over the transaction of money. On the day of the incident, he had reached Sandeep’s house with the intention of killing him, but Sandeep was not found there. In anger, he killed Sandeep’s mother Urmila with a sharp weapon. The police have also recovered the sharp weapon used in the murder.
Thieves’ terror prevails, motor theft from six tube wells
Thieves stole motors and other items from here by breaking the locks of tube wells of six farmers in a single night. The incident of theft caused a stir among the villagers. Due to the continuous incidents of theft, there is anger among the villagers towards the police. By breaking the locks of tube wells, motor, starter, cable and other items were stolen from here. The victim farmers came to know about the theft only in the morning. Villagers said that in the last two months, about two dozen farmers’ tube wells have been stolen. It is alleged that the police do not even register a case of theft. About ten days ago, half a dozen tube wells were also stolen in the forest of village Bhumma. Due to the ever-increasing incidents of theft, there is a huge anger among the villagers towards the police. The aggrieved farmers have given a complaint in the police station.
