Kanpur. After the action of confiscation of properties of gangster Vikas Dubey in the Bikru case, the police have started investigation of other properties on the instructions of the government. In this sequence, on Thursday, Chaubepur Police has started investigation by recovering another car of Vikas Dubey from Sahajyora village.
It is going to be two years of the famous Bikru case of Chaubepur. So far, along with the STF (Special Task Force) killing the infamous Vikas Dubey and five of his accomplices in an encounter in this case, the police have filed a chargesheet and action against the people involved in the Gangster Act. On the orders of the administration, more than 50 crore properties acquired on the basis of crime of Vikas Dubey have also been confiscated.
Here the government has issued orders to rediscover the properties of the infamous Vikas Dubey. In this sequence, on Thursday, the Chaubepur police got information that a Scorpio car registered in the name of the infamous Vikas Dubey in Sahajyora village of the area is standing in a road for a long time. The police have recovered the car after raiding. The house in which the car was recovered is said to be of a Bajpai family of the village itself.
Inspector-in-Charge Krishna Mohan Rai said that the recovered car was in the name of gangster Vikas Dubey. How this car reached here and who brought it, is being investigated.
The Bikru incident took place on the night of July 2: During the raid on the night of July 2, 2020 in Bikru village, eight police personnel including CO Bilhaur were murdered by gangster Vikas Dubey and his associates. After this massacre, SIT investigation was also conducted at the government level.
Car purchased in cash in the year 2013: The recovered Scorpio car is in the name of Vikas Dubey. It was purchased on 11 October 2013. The insurance period of this car, which is about eight years old, has ended on 27 February 2021. Now the police is investigating whether the car reached Sahajyora village before or after the Bikru incident.
