The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is taking strict action against the protesters who spread violence on the basis of Nupur Sharma’s statement, but does not want the sharp statements of any minister to affect the peace and order. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has bluntly asked the ministers to make a dignified statement. He said that do not speak on Nupur Sharma’s case, as the organization has already clarified its stand on this.
After the cabinet meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a meeting with all the ministers at his official residence. Sources said that in this particular ministers were asked to exercise restraint and beware of those trying to disturb the atmosphere. Treat all classes well.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Nupur Sharma’s statement has no direct relation with Uttar Pradesh. By taking action on them, the party leadership has made its stand clear, so we all have the responsibility not to go beyond the party line. Wherever all the ministers are needed, they should present their side by staying in dignity, because the statement of any minister is considered to be the statement of the government. The message is also sent to the government in the public on the basis of the same.
It is noteworthy that a senior minister of the government had given a scathing statement on the violent demonstrations in various cities including Kanpur and Prayagraj. It is believed that taking cognizance of the same, the Chief Minister has given this advice to his ministers. Earlier, BJP office-bearers have been directed by the party leadership not to react to the incidents related to Nupur Sharma.
Group of Ministers set up in Azamgarh and Rampur elections: Sources said that in the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath asked the ministers to seriously engage in the Lok Sabha by-elections being held in Azamgarh and Rampur. It has been decided that the Group of Ministers under the leadership of Agriculture Minister Suryapratap Shahi will be active in the election activities in Azamgarh. Higher education minister Yogendra Upadhyay and other ministers have been kept in this group. At the same time, the responsibility of Rampur has been given to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna. Bhupendra Chaudhary, Dharampal Singh, Dharamveer Prajapati, Baldev Aulakh and Anoop Valmiki will be with other ministers in the group of ministers with him. Programs of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak will be organized in both the Lok Sabha constituencies.
