Agra. On Thursday, the court of District Judge Rajiv Bharti gave its verdict on the appeal of Ranjana Agnihotri, who filed the first suit in the Shri Krishna Janmasthan case. Delivering the verdict at 12.30 pm, the court said that the appeal filed by Ranjana Agnihotri is maintainable. With this it was decided that his case would go ahead.
Ranjana Agnihotri has filed a suit in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division in September 2020 seeking to quash the agreement reached in the year 1968 between Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sangh and Shahi Masjid Idgah Committee. He has demanded that the entire land be handed over to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust by removing the Shahi Masjid Idgah from the Shri Krishna Janmasthan complex.
After the suit was dismissed by the civil judge’s court, he filed an appeal in the district judge’s court. In this, the hearing of the plaintiff as well as the respondent Shahi Masjid Idgah Committee, Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board, Shri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan (formerly Seva Sangh), Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust was completed. The District Judge’s court ruled on Thursday that the appeal filed by Ranjana Agnihotri regarding the suit is maintainable. Therefore, this case will be taken forward.
Ten other cases are also going on in the court
Apart from Ranjana Agnihotri, ten other cases are also filed in the court in the Shri Krishna Janmasthan case. Among them Manish Yadav, Mahendra Pratap Singh, Anil Tripathi, Pawan Shastri, Shailendra Singh, Jitendra Singh, Dinesh Sharma, Pankaj Singh and Dinesh Sharma have filed suit in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division. Whereas Shailendra Singh has also filed a case in the court of the District Judge. Recently, the plaintiff Manish Yadav had filed a suit in Allahabad High Court seeking to hear all the cases related to the birthplace of Shri Krishna together. On this, the court had ordered to hear all the cases together and dispose of them in four months.
