Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh has created a new history on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. On the call of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, this time Eid prayers were not offered on the roads by disrupting the traffic anywhere in the entire state. Muslim religious leaders also supported the appeal of CM Yogi, as a result, Eid prayers were held at Idgah or other fixed traditional place. In many areas including Hapur and Loni (Ghaziabad), where there was less space in mosques and Idgahs, people recited Namad in different shifts.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has congratulated everyone on the peaceful completion of Eid, Akshaya Tritiya and Parshuram Jayanti in the midst of harmony. CM Yogi said that on the occasion of Eid, Namaz was not offered on the roads anywhere in the entire state. Where there was lack of space, shift wise prayers were held. The people of the state gladly accepted a good initiative. The religious leaders came forward and guided the people. Congratulations to all for this.’
Till last years, where 50 thousand to one lakh people used to offer Namaz on roads and other places, this is happening for the first time in the history of the state that Eid prayers were not held on the roads. Earlier, a similar unprecedented situation was witnessed during the goodbye prayers, when people offered prayers in mosques on the appeal of the Chief Minister.
Not only this, due to the same day of Eid, Akshaya Tritiya and Parshuram Jayanti, the apprehension of the controversy being raised in UP also proved to be unfounded. When people offered Namaz in Idgahs, various organizations also organized peaceful events on Parshuram Jayanti. There are reports of celebrating the festival with joy and gaiety from all 75 districts of the state. At the same time, there have been reports of violence and tension between two communities on Eid in some provinces of the country including Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
In the past, CM Yogi had asked the officials to be extra sensitive to the police and administration on the same day of Eid, Akshaya Tritiya and Parashuram Jayanti. Along with this, instructions were also given to make a dialogue with the religious leaders in this regard, citing the trouble caused to the common people by stopping the traffic on the road and offering Namaz.
The Chief Minister’s efforts had a positive effect and there was no Namaz on the road anywhere. On the instructions of the CM, as a precautionary measure, the UP Police had beefed up the security. According to estimates, this year Namaz was offered at about 33 thousand places in the state, in which 2,800 places were identified and arrangements were made for security arrangements.
After amicable solution to the problem of bulldozer model and unnecessary loudspeakers installed at religious places, now Yogi Adityanath’s law and order model, which has presented a consensus solution to the problem of offering Namaz on the road, is being appreciated. These days, in the midst of the loudspeaker controversy going on in different provinces of the country, CM Yogi in UP asked to play the loudspeaker in low voice according to the standards set at all the religious places including the temple-mosque.
Supporting this call, Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Mathura and Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur went ahead and lowered or lowered the sound of the loudspeaker, then the local administrative officials also communicated with all the religious leaders and on their own motion, unnecessary loudspeakers also started coming down from mosques. Be it a temple or a mosque, the scenes of loudspeakers landing against the rules have become common in UP. The most important thing is that this whole process is being done by consensus, there was no news of untoward incidents like violence, disputes from anywhere.
New tradition of peace and harmony being created in UP The efforts of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who considers social harmony and law and order as top priority, have started paying off. Religious events with peace and harmony are becoming a tradition in UP, so Yogi’s law and order has also set an example in front of other states.
There were many incidents of violence and riots from many states of the country on the last Ram Navami. On the occasion of Ram Navami, there was a procession, then there was a city-city revolt and ruckus, but in Uttar Pradesh, more than 800 processions were taken out and there was not a single incident of dispute.
