Lucknow. Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PrSP) President Shivpal Singh Yadav reached Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday to meet him at his residence. Since this meeting, the round of discussions in the political corridor has intensified. However, Shivpal Singh Yadav’s camp has called it a courtesy call.
Injured by the attitude of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, SP MLA and Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (PSP) chief Shivpal Yadav can join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Shivpal is angry with Akhilesh’s neglect.
He returned to Lucknow on Wednesday amid discussions that Shivpal, who went to Delhi recently, without attending the meeting of allies convened by SP President Akhilesh Yadav, met top BJP leaders. Here he also met CM Yogi Adityanath late in the evening. There is also discussion that BJP can send him to Rajya Sabha.
Shivpal Yadav, who returned to Lucknow in the afternoon on Wednesday, took oath as MLA. Shivpal Yadav is an MLA from Jaswantnagar seat of UP. After this, reaching the Chief Minister’s residence, Panch Kalidas Marg, met CM Yogi Adityanath late in the evening. The conversation between the two lasted for more than 20 minutes. However, Shivpal’s camp is calling it a courtesy call.
Despite this, there was a discussion in the political corridors that Shivpal could join the BJP. It is being told that soon after this meeting, CM Yogi called the big leaders of the organization for discussion. It is also being told that BJP can also send him to Rajya Sabha. Speculations are also being made to join BJP because many of his close leaders including Sharda Pratap Shukla, Shiv Kumar Beria have already joined the saffron camp.
Dr. Ashok Bajpai of Shivpal camp is also already in BJP. The speculation about Shivpal joining the BJP is also getting air because neither his side nor his party has denied it. Shivpal, after taking oath as MLA, just told the media on Wednesday that ‘wait for everything when the time comes.’
BJP can also field Shivpal in the by-election of Azamgarh parliamentary seat, which fell vacant due to the resignation of Akhilesh Yadav. If this happens, Shivpal can field son Aditya Yadav from his Jaswantnagar assembly seat on a BJP ticket in the by-election.
Let us inform that when SP President and Leader of Opposition Akhilesh Yadav called a meeting of the parties involved in the alliance on Tuesday evening, his uncle Shivpal Yadav, who was angry, did not attend. Earlier, Shivpal did not attend the meeting of the newly elected MLAs of the SP because he was not invited by the party, this time the uncle did not come despite the nephew’s invitation.
Shivpal was listening to the Bhagwat Katha in Etawah when the meeting was going on in the SP state office. Angered by not being invited to the meeting of the SP Legislature Party on Saturday, March 25, Shivpal had gone to Etawah. After this he went to Delhi and also met SP Patron Mulayam Singh Yadav there. After this Shivpal again came to Etawah.
According to sources, Shivpal is deeply hurt by the attitude of SP chief Akhilesh and is feeling humiliated. His close friends say that in the consecutive elections, Shivpal took every step in support of Akhilesh and SP. Even sacrificing his own party, he himself fought with the symbol ‘cycle’. Not a single ticket was given out of the list given to Akhilesh to get tickets for his party leaders. Shivpal was getting angry with all these matters too.
