Saharanpur. Taking major action in Deobambad of Saharanpur, UP ATS (Anti-Terrorist Squad) raided on Saturday and took three suspects into custody and took them with them. The raid caused a stir in the area. On Saturday afternoon, the ATS team raided a hostel built on Mohalla Khanqah Road Darul Uloom Chowk at around 1.30 pm and took three people living there on rent in different rooms and took them with them.
Due to this sudden action of the investigating agency, there was panic in the area and people kept gathering information from each other in this regard. It is discussed that the people who have been taken into custody belong to Bangladesh and Burma. It is said that the above three were living illegally with a room on rent. According to sources, the team has taken all three to Saharanpur, where they will be interrogated.
The local police officer is refusing to know about this action of the ATS. At the same time, the officers of the Intelligence Department are also engaged in gathering information about the action of ATS. Hostel owner is also not ready to say anything in this regard.
The ATS team has already caught Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in Deoband. Four years ago, the team raided a hostel and arrested four Bangladeshi nationals. The said were still living here without a passport. It is believed that the above three were also living here illegally.
